I've bought stuff from this seller before and he seems ok but I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience of these friction plates he sells, as they are quite a saving over the usual. Thanks http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=321697545031&globalID=EBAY-GB
Newfren are at the lower end of the market. I used a set of their standard brake pads in some P4/34 front brake calipers and I ended up with massive brake fade as they were clearly budget items that came with the calipers when I bought them. As far as the clutch plates go time will tell as to how they last. I wore a set of stock Ducati clutch plates out it less than 1,000 miles and that wasn't from heavy use. So I would check them a couple of times at regular intervals to see how they are wearing.
Yeap I used them in my 999. They were recommended to me by another Ducati owner. No problems worked fined
The only problem Ive had is they stick together if left for a few months. I had to strip the clutch on my 999 to seperate them one year. Have a look on ebay.it theyre cheaper there if seller sends to uk.
Thanks for all the replies fellas. I've ordered a set and I suppose it'll be a case of suck it and see....
Have these and a new basket from Fabrizio (the seller). He is very serviceminded and helpful if any problems. Bought a lot of stuff from him
