That looks nice. Probably not that worthwhile for me, as I have a top box rack. I need to dig out some of those black screws to close off the holes where I've removed the splash guard.
Sounds awesome, would love to see it. I cancelled my order for an Evotech tail tidy when I saw that it doesn't fit with panniers. Maybe I need to re-order.
The multi is a touring tool and will never win a beauty contest so I'd leave it on to do its job cos it still doesn't look good with it off.
