    Well??

  2. Are you still going on about chains and front sprockets? :Hilarious:

Sorry, but yes, make sure your battery is tip-top, in order to get the most from those terrific new cables :upyeah:

  3. Yeh, sorry. Took about an hour to fit including removing the fairing's which are fitted with crash buugs ( not my voice were there when I bought it). Instructions couldn't be clearer with pictures for the dyslexic hairdressers and as I said in previous post everything is there that you need to fit them. There's a noticeable difference in starting especially after the bikes stood for a week or so where previously it would take three or four tries to fire up, now its first or second time but it turns over far faster.

  4. I received my upgraded cables from Exige (Exact Start).these are a brilliant upgrade, easy fit and clear instructions. Lucky for me I didn't have to piggyback with the OEM cables. I was able to remove them. I now have to fit the Shindengen mosfet
Reg/ rec upgrade. Has anyone fitted this reg/ rec upgrade in the original place ( under the battery). I have found I will have
to make a cutout in the original heat sink plate to accommodate the plugs on the bottom of the Shindengen
unit.also I'll have to make sure that the extra bulk of the plugs
don't rub on the inside of the fairing. I can't finish this fix at the moment has I am waiting for some heavier gauge wire for stator to regulator. Thanks again Exige.

  6. Just fitted a set to my 999, the cables were all easy to fit, same can't be said for the 999 battery box (what a pile of shite that ridiculous arrangement is) also showed how flimsy the battery posts are on the Motobat currently fitted. Battery is showing good voltage (12.8v across the terminals a few days after a charge) but even so the starter would barely turn the engine and would require a couple of pushes on the starter button before the engine laboured into life. With the cables fitted it now starts reliably and quickly first time with no starter/sprag stalling, in fact it starts like it should. Definitely recommend fitting them on this bike and for those that do so hope your battery box and heat shield are easier to refit than mine were. Thanks Exige for making them available

  7. Hi exige , I'm thinking okf carrying out this upgrade in new year , do you have a kit for the sport classic ? Also toying with a new lipo battery ?

  8. I was developing one and have most of the dims I think but then my accomplice disappeared off here - does your battery box have the loopy terminals, I will need to develop piggy back ones that don't require the box cutting of course.
PM me if you can work with me on finalising the design :)

  9. I can photo everything for ya. Talk during the week when your working. Enjoy weekend and beer.
