  1. I Went away for a couple of days last week with a few friends up to Mallaig and over onto Isle of Skye and round. Got a good 500 miles done in the two days. Great sweeping roads highly recommend paying it a visit guys.

I came from an 848 evo that I had for 4 yrs? Jumping onto the 1299S all I can say is holy s#$t. If your thinking of buying one, you certainly won't be disappointed. The bike is amazing. I have put 1500 miles on the bike in the last few months. Got a good pic of it up near Skye. image.jpg

  8. Good photo , but you missed the wheeley bin

  9. Nice pic pal, position that bike just right and you will be able to use your tail 'tidy' as a bridge to climb over the water to your castle...:upyeah:

  10. Haha yeah it's my house

  11. It's definitely in need of a tail tidy!

  12. Lovely bike, Mine was an 848 Evo, I can imagine that jumping to the 1299 has been quite a difference but in terms of comfort, probably a very welcome one!

  13. Hi,

Mines has now hit 3500miles, I had paint on the fuel tank rubbing of the lacquer. Ducati replaced the tank for me. The bikes going really well, not anything at all has went wrong mechanically. Your making a good move too one of these. The bikes just awesome. Hope you get one soon!

  14. Cheers Ginge. Ow I'll definitely be taking the plunge. Would like to sell mine first but not essential and I'm also in no great rush as winter begins to take hold.

So nothing to report other than the tank paint? Good going :upyeah: I'm arranging a spin over to Assen next summer so was keen for Ducati to bring out some basic luggage solutions for the 1299. I have a tidy little 8ltre Ducati tailback for the 1198 and its great for short trips. Something similar would be perfect...not a huge fan of tank bags myself. Have you sourced any interesting ways to lug your toothbrush about with?

  15. Try a kreiga us10 & us20 tailpack. Fixings are easy and unobtrusive and the packs are easy to connect to the bike and to each other.

  16. Yea I really rate the Kreiga stuff. Had a couple of their rucksacks for years but they're no good for the 1-pce with backhump. Will check out the us10/20 for fitment to the Pani's tiny tail

  17. Great roads up there nice bike :sunglasses:
