  1. same types as the standard. the Scorpion Trail II.
the Scorpion Rally are optional :astonished:

did anybody check the specs on the webpage?
have a look at the chain: 15/40 sprocket on PP and standard one, 15/43 sprocket on Enduro!! :fearscream: this will make a huge difference I believe.

  2. MCN reports...
As standard the Enduro version comes fitted with off-road capable but road-focussed Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres in 120/70/19 up front and 170/60/17 at the back. Optional Pirelli Scorpion Rally knobbly tyres can be specified and they are more suited to proper off road terrain.

  4. Harsh. :grinning:

I bought mine as a road bike, at which it excels, and I liked the fact it wasn't an every-one-and-their-dog-seems-to-have-one GS. It pisses all over the GS on the road and that's always fun. Putting knoblies on it and a bigger front wheel must seriously mess with the handling on road, and I really don't get the boxy pannier thing - GS owners are welcome to them. Seems to me you risk taking a superb road bike that's a compromised off road bike and turning it into a compromised road bike that may be OK off road and I don't care about that. But then I'm a creature of tarmac who's never had an off road bike so I'm probably just missing the point. Each to their own I guess - but not for me. My feet probably wouldn't reach the ground anyway.

  5. No factory fitted water/oil radiator guards on a bike with the 'Enduro' title? Like the twin swing arm though, always had concerns over that 200 ft-lb nut when on a tour.

  6. Road = Ducati Dirt = KTM ??? = BMW

  7. I really like to look of the new 1200Enduro and a list of under £17k it appears good value against the new Pikes Peak. I can see the 1200Enduro out selling the Pikes Peak by a fair margin. Might even make a small dent in GS sales.

It will be interesting to see the prices for the Touratech accessories for the 1200Enduro - I'd bet the prices for the packs are double those for the "old" 1200 DVT.

  8. Precisely this, but it looks amazing so it'll sell by the shed load. In fact I predict it'll be the best selling MTS because it looks cool. Will be interesting to see how much of an effect that 19" front wheel has. If nothing else, the wire-spoke wheels look amazing!!

  9. I wonder if Ducati plan to add this to the accessories for the new 1200Enduro: Instant Off-Road Kit

  10. I actually really like the enduro. I'd love to own one.

  11. I do get what what you mean, but let's hope the bike is as sorted, handling wise, as the new KTM 1290 super adventure. That bike works very well both on and off road, with very similar specs...

  13. Or belt? It's on the new Diavel although I'm sure it would have to be fully enclosed for off road work.

  14. I think that if the road handling is even marginally as good as the current multi, then it will be their best seller. That petrol tank will be worth its weight in gold (when brimmed obviously). Since owning mine, range has been my biggest gripe with what is a touring bike. 200mile plus range on a tourer should be a given.

  15. Partner with touratech, price increases 40%. Ugh!

  16. Currently loving my 2014 PP with full Termi and she see's the dirt on a regular basis. Local fire roads and trails, all it is missing is a few more inches of suspension travel and she would be the perfect bike for me so it looks like I am In, but I wont sell my PP she is too fast!!

  17. Trick question right?

If not then the answer is because it's an enduro bike!

  18. I like the spoked wheels though worry how easy it will be too clean inside the inner rim & outter rear hub. I did nothice that the rear wheel hub has a half inch overhang which was perculiar (all the better for adding lunasee wheel-lighting mind).

Want one & will then spray it a more unique colour scheme!

  19. Moonfruit, I'd love to see you do an enduro on that bike.
Also does it mean if I put mud flaps on my Ford Ka it becomes a rally car ?
