Ducati Engine Coffee Table

  1. Sensible offers martin....
This really is worth every penny and i can't even comprehend the amount of time, effort and money I've put into this. Plus.....this is completely unique and not another one like it in the world

  2. Mutts nuts. Beautiful. I struggle to make paper aeroplanes.

Can't afford it but if I could I'd want the base legs to be either splayed or convening and a bit longer or shorter as they pass away from the triangular struts under the engine so the proportions fit the satisfying rule of thirds... Possibly with triangle cutouts for a trellis frame effect. If I was spending that kind of cash I'd be willing to pay a bit more!

Which is all easy for me to say!!

  3. Ok. Leave it with me to have a think. It certainly looks absolutely stunning. It's a credit to your workmanship fella!

  4. I bet it's a bugger to dust. :Jawdrop:

  5. Sweet :kissingsmiling:

  6. Generally it isn't too bad to keep free of dust. The glass top keeps dust from settling on it and the treatment i do to all the components and cases means that dust can literally be blown off. A quick go-over with a feather duster does help now and again though. Very little effort required.
I don't watch TV any more....i literally just sit and look at the engine.

  7. If you can afford that you shouldn't be dusting it yourself [emoji6]

  8. Fantastic job on the engine, I think the frame needs to be more artistic, perhaps cast aluminium; a piece of laser cut stainless stitch welded to some box section is a bit agricultural.

  9. That'll take some dusting :p

  10. Would fit into your man cave nice stu.

  11. Mmm, that or a 1994 916 Strada for exactly the same coin that I've been chewing over ;):Angelic:

  12. I want one. If I give you my Desmo engine, can you chop it up for me? It'll look great in the lounge. :)

  13. Be careful on e-bay. There's people on there who'll think that's a winter project.

  14. S'ok. I'd want the faster 999 one ;)

  15. I love it. Can you give us any idea on what you'd like for it?

  16. that is stunning, one day I might just have to copy that idea.

  17. Looks fantastic! Great Job!

  18. Absolutely stunning. Doubt that exhaust set up will pass Euro 4 emissions. I'll take it off your hands before the Climate Change Gestapo confiscate it.

  19. Is it still for sale .?

  20. Sorry mvman, it has sold.
I will be starting another one shortly (1098s), so keep an eye out for updates!
