  1. Was it the big service /15000 miles?
    How much? :)

  2. Yo Triari
No, its only done 5000 miles, and was its 12 month service. [ Bikes now 18 months old]
Just over £240 with a few little bits and bobs sorted.
Also a warranty job done on the gear indicator. Bloody thing was going bonkers !!
And it cuts out the quick shifter at times.
Had it done by 'Corner speed 'at Sutton in Ashfield. Top end of Derby.
Picked it up and delivered it back for me.
They're doin me 1299 in a few weeks.
Think they was awarded 'Top Ducati service station' last year.

  3. Have heard the big service can cause a divorce it's that expensive.

  4. I hope it does, I'm serving papers on my ex next week. lol..

  5. Did wonder how accommodating your other half was to let you bring the bike indoors, that'd not go down well with mine!

  6. All painted now, and put on the bike. Just need to leave it for a couple of days to really harden off, then I can start polishing.
    Couldn't resist taking a few pics of me shoal. DSC_0025.JPG DSC_0027.JPG DSC_0029.JPG DSC_0036.JPG

  7. Nice! When they're side by side I definitely prefer the subtle differences you've made to the 1299 such as the thicker red stripe at the bottom, the thinner black lines on the nose and the different bits on the tail. Good job :upyeah:

  8. Your a lucky man.

  9. He is a very lucky man, he had a choice of rides !!

  10. Get a room already!

  11. Yo Matt
    Yeh the
    Yo Matt.
The 1199 was a trial. Mainly to see how good a job I could do, and then decide if I dare do the 1299.
Then see if any changes were to be made. The main one was the red lower stripe, which wasn't wide enough.
Then on the 1199 I used a sticker for the nose white. It was so much easier just painting it, and saved me £30.
I made loads of mistakes on the 1199, which was a learning curve. I made one mistake on the 12. Which took 5 mins to correct.
The enjoyment I've had doing both has been amazing. I want to quit work in a year or so. I wouldn't mind doing this as a part time job. Maybe getting all the proper equipment though. Would also need to build a spray booth. I can't keep taking all the bikes out of the garage to do a bit of spraying each time. And the mess is unbelievable.

This how they were suppose to look like. So not a bad effort.. Pani.jpg

  12. Looks great Steve. Like the small adjustments you've made to the 1299. :)

  15. Hi Mushio,

Can I just say they look absolutely amazing. That paint job is awesome.

Nice to see the Powerbronze logo on the screen on your 1199. If there is anything else you would like for either of the bikes, just let me know.

    All the best,
    Richard

  16. well mushi, that looks fantastic well done:sunglasses::sunglasses:

  17. Yo Guys.
Just an update. When I sprayed the bike , I plugged in my sound system in the garage. I unplugged the freezer to do this. yesterday my missus went to get something out of it. Yep, its been switched off for 7 weeks. !!!!! Smells like something you've trod in ! Luckily only around £50 worth of meat gone off, But look on the bright side, I grew plenty of mushrooms... Guess who's got to use the jet washer today then go and stand on the naughty step. ??
