  1. There's plenty of Dvt's @ Smc i called in today, several Dvt's had sold signs (mostly non s bikes) 3 more on the shop floor for sale as well as a nice Gt, they also have 9 in storage all 2016 models.

    Deal to be had [emoji6]

  2. Yeah almost what I said but may be go down the GT route you get a whole lot more for not much more if you know what I mean.

  3. Well what did you decide?

  4.
  5. I'm gonna try and secure a standard DVT at SMC if they're willing to do a good deal. I'm hoping that'll give me a good base to start from.

  6. you can
see if you can do better than £11995 with panniers thrown in !!
    You've been set a quest : )

  7. Ducati Leeds are great. So great I get all my stuff off them even though I live in Singapore! Shame I can't get the actual bike there.

On another note about cash purchase, here in Singapore you actually pay more than the sticker price. Dealers bump up the pr ce as most of them actually make their margin on the finance deal. Go figure.

  8. That would be some challenge. You've had a great deal there, Steve.

  9. Finally, after much procrastination I've eventually signed up for a new Multistrada!

I've gone for a standard DVT with touring pack, and also bought the carbon screen to go with it.

There are some good deals to be had at the minute. I've ordered mine from Reading. They gave me a great deal on the bike and were happy to take my Aprilia Tuono in part-ex.

Wolves and JHP are my local dealers but they unfortunately can't / won't do a deal. :(

I can't believe how excited I am to have finally sorted it out. :)

Thanks to @D4VE for giving me some advice and phoning around the dealers for the best offers. :upyeah:

Should be picking the bike up on Tuesday! :)

  10. @nkibble I know your excited, but why don't you hang fire until the first of March ?

  11. Fair question, and it was a consideration to be had. I certainly had the strong impression from the dealers that they wouldn't be able to do the same deals in the new year - and I think the year end had a bearing on this. Also, it meant my current bike was closer to service time. I usually have ride-outs lined up from April and didn't want to be fannying about with running in. I'll get the running in done early Jan and get it out of the way.

For me it worked to buy now.

  12. I bought my Dvt a few weeks ago, because there wouldn't be any where near the same deal around March next year
Come on then nkibble...what did you manage to get yr new steed for ?

  14. The best offer I'd had for my Tuono was £7K. These guys gave me £7.5K, and I paid £12.9K for a std DVT with touring pack and the carbon screen.
    £5.4K to pay.

I'm happy with that. What'd you guys reckon?

  15. Congrats on the new ride.

I couldn't wait until March either. Once I make a buying decision I want it right NOW!
