Has anyone else experienced this problem - when engaging gear engine cuts out. It's only just started and I'm assuming it's the side stand switch or does anyone else know what else it could be? Thanks.
Does sound like the sidestand switch. I had it happen on mine. Apparently you can just short the switch if you get caught out with it.
Plenty of threads re this on here. Simplest way to diagnose a side stand switch is to disconnect the switch connector (v simple) and short out the live end using a paper clip then take out for a test ride. This time of year you'll need to protect against the elements. I bagged and tywrapped mine. New switch assembly from Ducati about 40 quid ish.
