1200 DVT Worthwhile Add-ons

  1. Folks,
was thinking of having the dealer fit the Ducati auxiliary lights when it goes in for its 600 mile service. What else do you guys think its worthwhile fitting ?

BTW, I have some bits and bobs from my old 2013 Monster 796 for sale if anyone out there knows of anyone that might be interested.

  2. Hi
If you don`t already have, heated grips are must add on :)
And a Termignoni full system is always a good choice, it is a bit loud on higher rpm, but driving on low rpm it`s not so loud.
If i would order now bike i would take the handsfree filler cap..

  3. Cheers Teemu,
Ive already got the heated grips and a Termi end can
Will look into the option of the Handsfree cap.

Anyone else had the aux lights fitted ?

  4. Doesn't the full Termi system need an expensive ecu upgrade ?

  5. When you buy full termignoni for Multistrada DVT it includes Up-map key. It is a dealer install only for that up-map key, cause you need also Ducati tester..

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  6. Navihalter and GPS is what I cannot live without.

And depending on what options you've got accessories wise e center stand is a no brainier.

  7. Any idea on cost ?
I presume at least £1.5k all in ?

  8. Hi
Don`t know what it cost in UK, But here in Finland it was 2000€ fitted..

  9. Is that fitted on a Dvt ?
Could you post a couple of pictures ?

  10. Yes Fitted in 2015 DVT. That is the only picture what i have, i have taken exhaust part and send header pipes to painter to be painted a black ceramic coating.
It would be very easy install anybody with basic tools can do it, except that you need to get it to dealer to get that up-map key installed..

  12. Mmmmm not a fan of those long Termi cans , unfortunately
I don't suppose the stubby Termi would baffle the noise enough, and I suppose the up key is mapped for the longer can : (

  13. Full Termi sounds lovely and makes a big difference to the power delivery, alway sound the stubby sounds the same as the original can.

  14. I don't understand Jimvee ?

  15. Hi Steve, no real comment, just saying the full system sounds lovely and is worth the money imho and the stubby is too quiet. The full termi end can is slightly shorter than the previous can too

  16. Thanks for the reply
How can the stubby be quieter ?

  17. £1720 (not fitted)

  18. Because there's a big cat in front of it, acts like a baffle .

    • Agree Agree x 1
  19. No. I mean how can the stubby be quieter than the long can ? ...with the cat removed
Sounds like what Jimvee is saying

  20. You will need to buy the link pipes if u remove the cat and they are just as much as a full system although they do come up on fleabay every now and again.

One of the lads on the forum had link pipes and stubby on his 2011 Mutley and that was loud just like the full termi
