848 Toce Exhaust Question? Arrow/zard Aftermarket

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by Steve8484, May 8, 2015.

  1. Hi all don't know if anyone else has bought a Toce exhaust. I've just bought one for my 2011 848 evo.
Now I've got the termi slip ons ecu and filter on at the moment...should I return those to stock items or would it be better to keep it with the termi set up? Has anyone done this for the arrow/zard ect setups. I asked tst and they seemed unsure only suggesting a refalsh.

Can you just run it as is, I'm not looking to improve performance just avoid a disaster with doing the wrong thing.

    Cheers

  2. I mean replace the slip ons from terms to the toce slip ons if that wasn't clear...

  3. Did you ever fit these Steve? Would be interested to hear how they sound.

  4. Yes I fitted them back in the summer.
My opinion, for the price I think with import duty ect it came to about £1000. I felt they were a poor fit. I had to cut them about and shave off some of the inner exhaust to make them slide on nicely.
The sound was immense, but we are talking mega ear splitting loud! Don't let that toce video fool you.

To make them work better and bearable I think a custom baffle would have to be made. I have seen a thred on someone with an r1 who toned them down doing this.

In the end it seemed a lot of hassle for what was a poorly made product. I had the termis sitting there and actually prefer the look/sound of them. You can slip the baffles in or out and get a completely different experience like that with them.

    Hope this helps
    Cheers

  5. Thanks Steve for the write up. Sounds a shame you didn't like them, hope you got some money back.
