Oil

  1. What oil is everyone using, I'm following manual shell advanced ultra 4, but do I use fully or semi synthetic?

  2. Whatever you want. The handbook will tell you the viscosity and the specification. Any oil manufacturers that meet these standards will be fine.

  5. ill do maybe 1 track day nxt year so ill use the 10w40 but unsure on fully or semi?

  6. if your only doing one mate i wouldn't worry about it, 10/40 semi will be fine, just change it before you do your track day so its nice and fresh.

  12. Wet clutch, or dry ?
    If wet, you need to adhere to the JASO spec.
    Some (most ?) fully synthetics contain friction modifiers which will make a wet clutch slip.
    Shell Advance Ultra 4 is an exception.
