  1. :(

Basically if you are in to 70's or 80's music and like live music, go see your favorite acts NOW. They wont be around much longer.

  9. I think that may be part of the problems they (Lemmy, Bowie, Griffin, Frey) had. Burn out not fade away eh?

  10. You may well be right of course. But increasingly I seem to be thinking that 'I'd better hurry up and enjoy myself'. Especially as I'm lying in bed with gastroenteritis, looking out the window thinking what a lovely day for a bike ride.

When I'm better I'm going to fly to Spain for £22.50 each way, I'm going to nick my brothers bike and go for a blast in the sun. Now that sounds like a plan!

  14. My uncle died two weeks ago aged 92, his wife just seven days later aged 86..........the last of my two senior relatives............

....I have my doubts I will get that far..............but what the hell, I have stained the new pavement purple (rum & black / stag night 1972) near Colchester Station; played drums with several well known musicians (part taught by one); raced sidecar outfits; married four times; tripped up Joe Brown outside a shop in Oxford Street; led Foggy into Russells at Snetterton; made money, lost money (quite a lot when the recession hit when clients didn't pay) and loads of other stupid things......Do I care?

    Not any more.....

  17. Nope......Just enjoyed myself and spent a lot of money in doing so..........

.........I never wanted to be a boring fart like some............

Unfortunately that's how a lot of end up as we get older..........if they didn't start off like that in the first place.
