Someone on another forum is selling the slipons from an R and I may be able to buy them from him. Will they fit? Any disadvantages compared to the normal akrapovic slipons for a 1299?
I could be wrong but I think the R model 'Akrapovic's have catalytic converters in them don't they? Where as the other Akrapovic systems are full race (non e marked) systems.
Ahaa.. so in that case, the sound won't be much better than the original ? Power curve will also not be affected?

Not sure mate, nelly can probably confirm but if it has the catalytic converters in it will be weight saving only I would thing with perhaps slightly better sound. I know that the full Akrapovic's sound like thunder! Absolutely lovely!
