Hello to all I wanted to make termignoni mid pipes black, except rear cylinder pipe i did not paint, too much work to get the rear cylinder pipe off, they are painted with ceramic coating(techlinecoatings), sandblasted with quartz sand. also sumpguard is painted, it is painted with Jotun ikea black powder paint, fine texture. Company who made all this for me, KH-Coating Few pictures of some added carbon parts, im still waiting to get carbon rear splash guard. Sorry about my bad english, i try my best.. feel free to ask anything
Looks nice, i ordered every possible carbon fibre item for the dvt from several manufacturers, I'm awaiting sprocket cover/splash guard/and a box of cnc alloy bling, nxt week the bike is going to the painters [emoji39]
I have only genuine Ducati carbon fibre parts, rear hugger was a bit pain in the ass to put in, had to make one screw hole about 1-2 mm bigger to get it fit properly, but i think overral quality is very good in genuine ducati carbon fibre parts.
Shift tech in the states do every item, but by the time you have paid import tax you may as well brought the stuff from your Ducati dealer.
Ordered mine from Carbon world DE before Xmas 4-6 week wait. Also ordered today the new carbon hand guards 3 week wait so maybe they come together.
Steve, re the hand guards be aware that the fixing kit i received doesnt work. Totally different fron video on utube. I got 2 white plastic spacers large and 4 short. Also washers and the nuts are domed so are limited in what length of screw they can accomodate. Tried all variations of two short and one long plus two long and one short and 3 short. All result in too much thread left on at least one screw. Have sent carbon world an email.
