Whilst I embark on a little project [emoji16]I noticed pushing the bike around how heavy it felt, once I removed the cat and fixed pipes the difference could be felt in just pushing it around again . It's a doddle to remove, the majority of time taken was removing the bolts out the belly pan [emoji53]
That's weighty! Curios as to why you have whipped the fairing off - not for the exhaust I'm guessing?
More important question, how heavier it is than the full termi exhaust? Makes me think that finally the whole advantage gained from the full termi is just because it's lighter than the original.
D4VE So, how much does the cat weigh? In the picture with the weighing scales, it looks like you've weighed the Cat+Endpipe? I'm interested in a de-cat.
I weighed mine when I took it off. As I remember the cat was around 10kgs. The end pipe was only another 2 or 3kg. Changing to the full Termi saved about 8-9kg. I can't remember exactly.
I weighed my Standard system (2013 S) on warehouse scales and it weighed 6kgs, the Full Termi system Weighed 0.2kg Maybe cats are different between years or your not as heavy as you think you are
D4VE Thx Dave and the other posts, that confirms the DVT Cat 12-2.5=9.5Kg. A big heavy lump, nearly 21lbs!
You look a little like Nookies woman from Boardwalk Empire if ye don't mind me sayin! That's you not the cat
