  3. Hi Cream its a 96 bike, i have the original bill of sale plus a Warranty Maintenance booklet. It has the Cagiva elephant embossed onto the filler cap, if this means anything. Looking at it i will not add anything just keep it in this condition.

  4. Looks great, nice find and very clean,

  6. Sure looks a nice bike but my 998 only fetched £6.300 with 7800 miles on it.

  7. That was a little surprising.

  8. Wow ! Nice one. Looks mint. Don't see many unmolested examples nowadays. :upyeah:

  9. Beautiful looking stock bike, I'd keep her as is wouldn't change a thing - it's a very slippery slope :)

  10. I know 916s fetch good money but £7500 the 998 is a better bike with ohlins rear tin coated forks 3 phase electrics and a far superior engine my honest opinion is the 998 I had was far better value at £6300 with less than 8k on the clock just saying that's all.

  11. All people did was moan about the decals in the wrong place!

  12. You could have spent £200 having the fairing resprayed and new decals.

  13. Having said that your 916 is a lovely bike and I do wish you all the best with it.

  14. That would have put £200 on the price and nobody wanted to pay £6.500 for it!!!

  15. Plus one on Tobytykes comment, keep everything standard and original. There are very few truly bog standard 916's out there and it is getting quite rare to find one so resist the temptation to bling it up, you will be glad you did in years to come.

  16. Stick the bits in a box, I've spent 6 months eBay the bits I need to make her OEM and cleaned them up and stuck them in a draw.
