  1. Hi,
Just done 3 hours in the garage mounting sat nav and navihalter, fitting radiator, oil cooler and header guards from Evo performance impressed with all 3 items very well made and good fitting instructions on web site.
Shocked at how easy the bike is to work on, now that's a good way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

  2. Photos or it didn't happen (plus I want to see how the Evo Performance bits look).

  3. I've got exactly the same planned for my long weekend off, hope I find it as easy

  4. I'm thinking of getting at least the engine protector once my corrosion is fixed.

So pics would be great :)

  5. I tried to take my belly pan off but the middle oil drain(?) black bolt must be specially made from cheese... I couldn't shift it and now rounded it off so I'll let the dealer sort that out when they do the first service.
They are going to fit the Evotech's for me at the same time.

  6. reminds me. must get some cooler guards. any recommendations?

  7. I think Ducati used loctite and an air gun[emoji33]
Mine was the same, I replaced it with a stainless jobby.

@bradders, evotech pal, very well made and fit and finish are exceptional.

  9. That looks great. It's on my list ;)

  10. How big a job/how easy fit guards? Taken above advice and spent some cash with touratech, and remember the last multi being a PITA to do the oil cooler one

  11. Graders.... Got a say, they were a pretty easy fit. Well made and fitted exactly as they should. The silver coloured rad guard is the Ducati OEM part - made by Touratech. (Got the Touratech logo on it) It just attached to rad by 4 x cable ties, one in each corner. Didn't take any 'bits' off the bike to do it. The top ones were a little bit more fiddly, but overall it was a 10-15 min job. Same for the Evotech really. A small plate is attached to 2 of the cylinder / pipe bolts (not sure what it called but it's where the front pipe is bolted to the engine block !) and the guard fits onto that. Well made piece of kit. Took my time to fit it - but again it about a 15 min job. If I can do it, then no prob for anyone else either !!

  12. Will have a go sat

  13. No way they can be fitted without removing bodywork ??!

  14. Even the dealer had to resort to cutting through the rubber mount on the bottom of the belly pan!

Dropped of the belly pan and passenger pegs at the anodisers this morning. Evotech parts were fitted by the dealer, nicely made parts

  15. have offered both up, no way in this world will the rad cover go on without the wings coming off...even google can't help...

  16. The wings come off within mins, just look for the recess screws and once out the wing lifts off.

  18. That's how far I've got with mine. The PP parts are all original Ducati -no stickers - as I had a small accident and got all covered by the insurance, the dealer was so kind to cover the difference and I paid minor backs for the upgrade. Still looking to get that Evotech engine guard but I am not fond of the black colour as the silver fits well with the crash bars.
