I have a 2010 848 evo currently in the process of replacing at least one blown head gasket. How many uses are recommended for head nuts? Also are head nuts and the washers are available at the dealers i can't find a part number in the catalogue. Thanks!
The 1098 manual, which I'd expect to be the same, says nothing about how many times the nuts nor the studs can be used. The nuts, washers and studs are on the same page of the parts list as the crankcase halves. Nut : part no 748.1.050.1A Special washer : part no 856.1.064.2A Stud : part no 766.1.055.3B
Cylinder head nuts are not torqued to any huge setting so you can reuse them as many times as you like.
