1200 DVT End Caps Of Termi Slip-on An Full System (2015) The Same?

  1. Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the end caps of the 2015 Termi slip-on and the full Termi are the same?
They surely look like the same.
I would want to remove the end cap of the full Termi and put it on the slip on to be able to apply the full Termi Db killer to the slip on, as the end cap of the full Termi has a welded nut in it to be able to fix the Db-killer in it.

I would drill out the rivets of the slip-on end cap and the full Termi end-cap and simply swap them out. Don't know if that might work though.

  2. I asked my dealer already when I was opting for the slip-on and they said that unlike the previous model where the cup was screwed in the DVT one is fixed.
Indeed I think it's enough loud already and I would most likely get a fine for publc disturbance if I'd remove the cup from that thing.

  3. I think we're talking about different things.
What I want to do is remove the end cap of the slip-on (by drilling out the rivets) and replace it with the end cap of the full termi system (where i would drill out the rivets as well).

The end cap of the full termi has a hole and a welded nut on the inside to be able to mount the db killer.

I just want to swap out these 2 end caps to be able to fix the db killer inside the slip on.
Now, the question is: Are the end caps of the slip on and the full system the same and therefore interchangeable?
