I think the revving was covering some foul language, he really really wanted to go again. That was one of the best thing's I've seen on TV for a while.
Really ? I thought it was just a very scripted TV program. Mug of tea, check Home made motorbike. Check Sorry, but I'm just not convinced by it, or him, at all. Yes he can race a bike we'll but honestly most of the other TV stuff and records can be done by many others. As well.
We all like different things, what were the options? Antiques Roadshow or Constipation street? Or I think there were some NCIS re-runs?. To be honest I have no idea what else was on.
Interesting enough programme but making it live did nothing for it and meant there was way too much filler and not enough substance, his mum, dad and girlfriend are all probably lovely people but tv performers they are not and added nothing to the show, and WTF was David Coulthard there for?
Why all the hate? I thought he did well, that couldn't have been easy and took some bottle. Could have been done by many others, could you have done it? How often do you pull 6.5g sitting on the sofa? His family aren't TV presenters. Duh, no they are his family. What would have an extra 3 polished TV presenters have brought to the program? Coulthard is Guy's mate. Maybe he just wanted to be there. Maybe Guy invited him. Maybe the producers did after their program the other week. Now he's getting slagged off; for him and his mate building a bike  Oh, and having a cup of tea in his hand ffs. :Meh: Which was right at the end of the program, it was so shite, you watched it all the way through. He seemed to put it down pretty quickly, was it thrust into his hand maybe? I for one will be watching his next effort. The lad is a great rider and a nice personality.
Who mentioned hate? Criticism is being levelled at the production on my part for having uninteresting and irrelevant filler like the contributions fro Coulthard and Guy's family. Without the fluff it could have been a more interesting programme.
Have recorded this and looking forward to watching it. Guy is incredibly brave imho (maybe foolhardy) and takes on things that are clearly likely to result in injury, simply because he feels he has committed to them. He is also a very likeable, upbeat personality with a good dose of talent. All this makes for good TV. Having said that, I can see that a live broadcast is almost certain to involve lots of filling with no opportunity to edit, so will be somewhat strung out compared to what we are used to. Hardly his fault though.
