I decided I wanted to make my own cylinder head guard as I wanted something original. It's just come back from anodising so feeling chuffed I thought I would show you all the final version.
Anything thrown up by the front wheel. Road crap, road kill, small puppies? Depending which head you attach it to, perhaps even intrusive brain surgery by aliens or brain washing by foreign governments? But I think this may be over the top because the accepted standard protection against this is silver foil wrapped entirely around the head. Some people have even added antenna like protrusions to capture and deflect the radio waves. But I digress!
I made my guard mainly against a tar. Fresh tarmac may cause a sadness when you look at your bike after ride.
I use a colander with a tv aerial. Anyway, the guard looks ace. Would look great on my black bike so you'd best start the manufacturing line going.
