Replacement Seat Gt1000

Hi all,
Well after many years if riding Japanese and hankering after a Ducati, I finally took the plunge.
In a few weeks, I'll be the owner of a GT1000. I've always loved the retro look and I think this is a fine example.
I live near Stamford, some great roads around here.

I hope someone can help?
I am on the hunt for a replacement seat, any condition as I want to get it customised for more of the cafe Racer look, without the uncomfortable bars.
:grimacing: Does any one have one or an idea where I could get one?

 

Thanks, they are tricky to come by. I want to keep a pillion seat.
Ideally, I'd probably want to get a replacement seat customised. The only off the shelf ones I've found are Bagster.
She's such a lovely looking bike, I want to do her justice.

 

Hi, thanks for the tip, unfortunately, Tony couldn't help. I did find a outfit in Holland who sell OEM parts for Ducs. It's Star Twin Motors the Ducati parts site is www.oemducati.com/

Seat is on order and I'm talking to Saddle Craft in South Shields about the Cafe custom. Thinking of a mid brown leather look on a black GT.

Any thoughts?

The seat has gone of the be done. I'll post some pictures when she returns.

 

Replacement seat purchased for the GT1000 and sent off the Les @ Saddle Craft. It arrived last week and here's the result....
