  3. So, are you going to whip them straight off and solder some better ones on? Now they are activated, if you keep the OEM wiring they should work the same way.

  5. There must be something wrong with some of the batches. Mines were fitted on the bike when I ordered it, non S DVT? I'm regularly out for lengthy runs with temps between 0 and 10 degrees, like 100 miles to and from Hawes last Sunday morning @about +3deg and they kept my hands happy on Med, with summer gloves on. Is there a spec on how hot they should get, I could try measuring mine?

  7. I certainly wouldn't argue with that last point, lol.

  8. Me neither!!

    I measured mine yesterday

Bike running at 3000 RPM - from start to electric fan cycling - grips on max

Sat in the garage - max measured was 61 degrees C after 15 minutes - Set on Max

Be interested if anyone is seeing hotter on the DVT or the Old bike.

    THANKS

  9. I'll make a point of measuring my non DVT ones when I get home. I'm making a bet with myself that they'll be a gadgillion degrees on max, because that's what it feels like.
