  10. Can never quite understand why the Streetfighter didn't sell better, its certainly one of Ducatis all time classic designs. Some very nice bikes in this gallery.

  11. True. However i don't think it looks very nice from the front. All other angles looks mean as hell.

I miss my one (was pinched) although didn't really appreciate it at the time, only had it 6 months. Would like another some day.

  12. I think they will become a Ducati "classic" and rise in value in the future as so few were made. Especially the full fat version .

  13. Because Ducati brought it out right in the middle of a recession and priced it £4000 higher than the nearest opposition. Too dear at the wrong time. Then by 2013, the sports bike market had slumped, the supernaked market had taken off, there was choice in the market and the SF was competing against bikes that were more sophisticated and a lot cheaper so Ducati dropped it.

  14. Its on my list of bikes to have eventually....having said that for the foreseeable future my bike purchases are over for multiple reasons. I did almost get an SF at the point I got my zed but I would have had to pay 9k (at the time for an s) and my 64 plate zed cost my 7.8k. Having said that as much as id agree with the general feeling that theyre a classic waiting to happen ive seen some really cheap ones on the bay at the moment (lowest being 6.5k) from a shop, which is a steal...just to add - my mate is currently looking for an S - he was about to get one from a shop in Exeter but it went...

  15. What was it up for? Got my 2010 1098S in October with 1300 mile on for £8200 full main dealer history and freshly serviced from Hyside Ducati.
There was another at the time with 4K for £11950 elsewhere.
I think they have gone up already and Hyside just checked the book value which was out of date - but £12k was pushing it!

  16. The one in Exeter I think was just shy of 9k...

  17. I had thought of selling mine as I'm not using it, but I've regretted selling bikes before and I'll never find another like it when I inevitably realise I've made a mistake.

I've had it from new and there's nothing else I really hanker over to make me sell at this point in time.

I do think the Streetfighter S will become a bit of a classic actually.

  18. Just realised this is a Gallery Thread, so back to the gallery - here's mine :D
