848 Remap!

  1. Evening guys

So iv got my 848 which I have removed the cats and baffles from the standard exhaust and fitted A&R baffles.

I'm looking at a remap to get her running sweet and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I'm down south so Ducati winchester is my top choice I guess? Any experiences or other remapers?

Also would you guys recommend an aftermarket air filter before I go and get it done to gain the most or just leave the standard filter in?

    Thank you very much guys

  2. CJS near Bristol is well frequented and gets very good reviews.

  4. Again Chris is top notch if you can get hold of him.

  5. Wilf does a great job on tuning these, its just when he can fit you in, done quite a few I kow and they all say its a different bike

CJS did my Evo, plus set ignition timing, and took it from 131 to 139 and proper crisp throttle

  6. I had my 848 evo remapped by Wilf at MotoRapido, he put a 848 challenge map on there which disabled the o2 sensors etc and he said I was likely to get a genuine few Hp at the back wheel. The biggest difference was being able to modulate revs when pulling away and less chug! But also it had a fair bit more Instant torque down the bottom of the revs. I was happy with the results

  7. +1 for Chris at CJS. Did a good job and willing to offer advice over the phone on an unrelated bike matter. Next bike I get dyno'd will be at CJS

  8. Had my 999 re-mapped by MotoRapido, made one hell of a difference. So much smoother and punchier.
I travelled 3 hours in the pouring rain for them to do it. Would happily use them again.
