Looking to replace the levers on my 959. Anyone recommend good levers that are reliable and of good quality. I had set of ASV previously on my BMW, they were expensive but will consider again if no one can recommend a quality lever at a competitive pricing Jim
I've put ASVs on the 1299 which I'm happy with,if your interested though I've got a brand new unused set of lightech levers I'm looking to move on
I have the Evotech Performance levers on mine and they are perfect. Great fit and easy to adjust. Decent price too.
+1 for the evotech performance levers, had them on my 899 along with an evotech tail tidy & bar ends. All quality products, got mine from conquestcarbon with a 10% off voucher code.
I have the Evotech shorties. Aside from finding the clutch a little too short, the quality is fine. They are however virtually no different than Chinese ones you get on eBay for £15
....apart from the alloy used to make them..... I know I wouldn't want to risk my brake lever fracturing!.... (I have worked with Chinese copies in M&E. They have all looked really good, but always failed earlier).
I agree. I had some cheap Chinese levers I bought for about £30 for the pair. Then I bought some second hand mint ASV levers for three times as much and to be honest the Chinese ones were just as good at a fraction of the cost:Banghead:
Replaced the standard with Chinese flip ups. They were good enough. Crashed, they flipped up. Didn't break or anything but got rashed so replaced with Chinese again. Again, good enough. Then had a chance to compare several Panigales, all next to each, other using Lightech levers. It was noticeable there was a bit more slop in mine. Not much, but noticeable. So I bought a pair of Lightechs. A lot more money but just a bit better feel. Very nice.
Oberon Performance also produce quality levers. UK designed & manufactured & their customer service is excellent.
