For Sale Ducati 996 Biposto 1999

  1. Ducati 996 Biposto in superb condition with under 10k miles, I doubt this bike has ever seen wet roads. I have had the bike four years and really enjoyed every mile I have ridden her, now in my mid fifty’s finding the raw riding position a little hard on my back and wrists. Duke02.JPG Duke 10.JPG

The bike is not standard and has lots of carbon fibre parts which make for a stunning looking bike with the yellow paint. I has carbon Termignoni exhaust which sound awesome, carbon fibre air box and air intake ducts, carbon fibre front mudguard, carbon fibre single seat conversion plus other carbon fibre bits, has an open clutch cover fitted. 1999 Biposto so fitted with showa suspension and Brembo wheels.

Belts and service done just before I purchased in 2012 and I rode it for three seasons before doing belts and shim checked May 2015, shims all good and new Ducati belts fitted, new thermostat and top expansion tank fitted and only done 1000 miles since, oil and filter changed at start of every summers riding, Ducati filters and Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w-40 oil, Oil and filter just done May 2016 ready to go. Pirelli Corsa tyres back excellent front fair, chain and sprockets good.

I have none of the standard parts to give you with the bike, she is as she stands. Only very near offers will even be considered, price is set a little above what a main dealer has offered on a PX deal for new bike. Looking for £5100ovno

The MOT is due end of June, but; for right price I could put a new MOT on bike for you as I have every confidence she will pass without issue. Bike is currently on a SORN so no test rides, unless full asking price in cash as deposit and proof of insurance and id, if it gets damaged or impounded by Police you own it.

  6. Just though it would spoil the look of the carbon fibre, Never been able to make my mind up on this one, do I paint it or dont I paint it..

  7. or, buy a yellow plastic one and sell the CF one. I expect the CF would be worth more than you would pay.

  8. Will have a look and see what I can find.
