Can anyone tell me if the ride height adjuster on the 1100s can also be wound closer together to lower the bike ? When I see any 2nd hand ones they all seem to be set pretty much as short as they'll go, I weren't sure if from standard you could only really raise the rear end Cheers
I think that vertical bar along side the rear shock is the one to lower it....cant confirm though as ive not done my present one and did do my last evo (fitted the ohlins afterwards), I did adjust the bar I just said about and it felt lower but literally sold the bike a few days later....so I cant really recall...
Yeah that's the bar.....mine is a non adjustable as it's just an 1100 not an 1100s......They just look like they could only be adjusted to be shorter by a few mm each end but the manual says they can be lengthened each end by up to 7mm
I took mine off last night. I can measure it at its shortest for you but won't be until tonight I'm in work til atleast 8.
