hi all hope someone can help. have a fault with my dash -the right indicator flasher isn't showing and will subsequently fail my mot about fell off my seat when ducati confirmed £600 plus labour for a new one!! found a guy at scorpion willing to give it a bash at repairing the circuit but not willing to split the seal on the unit my question-could someone tell me how to disconnect and remove the dash unit has someone already tried and I'm wasting my time would I be better selling one of the kids kidneys and feeling the pain for a new unit prob is -no flasher on the dash no mot no bike- any help or advice would be appreciated cheers in advance Greg
Sounds like you have nothing to lose in trying to have it repaired. There is an online manual www.madcogz.com/MSTD1200s/wsm/en/home.html Which will probably show you how to remove it. I think it is just mounted on a couple of rubber bobbins with nuts on the back. Splitting the case neatly will probably be the hardest part
I'm almost certain someone on here did it to insert those moisture crystal packs at some point Don't worry, somebody will be along shortly with a solution
the one on my 2010 model was replaced as good will by ducati, I did have to pay the 1 hours labour to fit and program
