Hi my Pp has been remapped by CJS. The service indicator for the 7500 mile oil service cannot be reset. I've been to 2 main dealers and Luigi Moto and no one can do it as in the software there is no option to turn it off. Anybody had anything like this and can shed some light? It's a 2014 bike. Ta muchly!
I have a CJS remapped 2012. When I had a replacement dash under warranty I wound the mileage on to reflect the true mileage. I did this with the dongle and the Android MultiToolLite app. During this I successfully reset the service indicator a couple of times. That may be of no help as I think your dash might be different. Having said that, the app documentation does not seem to indicate that it does not work on post-2012 models. I'm not sure how Chris's work could foul this up?
Yes I might need to investigate the dash as faulty. Problem is if you mention remap the main dealers run a bloody mile. They don't want to know. My dash says CJS racing when you flash it up so bit of a give away! I don't think Chris's work has messed it up but am gonna see him to get the CJS bit off my dash so I can approach the main dealer about a possible faulty dash.
