The other problem is a bit worrying, when sitting in traffic sometimes the engine comes on but goes out again when moving. Also after I cleaned it the engine came on but after a quick rev it went out again. - Are you talking about the EOBD Engine Management Light? When the dash first starts up and says 999 is it right to have EN in the bottem of the screen? - This is normal, just telling you the dash is set up for MPH
The bike looks stunning : Yellow ones are faster .......... as for the millage i hit 30,000 miles last week while on track on the 916 last monday. Time for a good service now. Enjoy the bike is looks a stunner.
Hi, I'm another newbie to the forum. I've got a deposit down on an old 996 (T reg). She has 15k miles. Paul told me the Ducati factory reckon the engines are at their best after around 12k, so as long as she's been looked after its no problem.
