Hi, i have a 2007 1098 that has been thrown in a hedge, im after some info regarding yokes fitment, The lower yoke/triple has a crack in it by the pinch bolt so needs replacing, so im wondering what other yokes fit apart form the 1098. mine is a normal model 53mm upper and lower yokes "E" frame non adjustable. I have been told that 749/999 yokes will but these look different ? they are much slimmer will 1198 yokes fit ? the ducati part numbers are different 1098 is 342.2.034.1A 1198 is 342.2.034.2A any help would be appreciated
749 are different, not sure about the 999. 1198 will fit as long as there match to the correct forks, ohlins or not. 916 etc will work, nit the lat 748E. I have a set that will fit if you're interested
Thanks Nelson, although this confuses me even more ive read here (4th reply down) the 749/999 will fit ? Triple clamp compatibilty? - ducati.org forum | the home for ducati owners and enthusiasts if the 1198 will fit too whats the difference in the part numbers for ? what set do you have ? Cheers
My understanding is, 999 916 - 998 748 (not E) same. 749, 848 748E Same No idea why the part numbers vary. Not uncommon. I have taken 1098 ones and fitted to 916 frames, no probs. I have one of the above for sale. I can take pic with measurements if that helps
Yep mine are as your above photo,yes please if you could i assume its 53mm ? What are you looking at for it ? Cheers
