  1. Hello to everyone.

I am afraid that I am yet another new member from the South West - Portishead to be exact.

I currently ride a Buell Ulysses and am about to purchase a 900SS before my back stiffens and I can't bend anymore.

Here's to getting acquainted with you all.

  2. Hello and welcome

    :)

  3. Welcome along

  4. Welcome. I thought about a Lightning for a bit before I bought my Z1000. What is the Buell like to ride?

  7. Hello and welcome to the forum. What's going on down your way? Loads of Duke riders down there, is it something special in the water?

  8. It could be sweet...

  9. Hi and welcome to the forum :)

  10. Hi Matt.

I like the Buell - plenty of torque and a wonderful noise. Need inside leg of 34" to stop it falling over when you come to a stop, otherwise a bike full of real character. It's easy to maintain and parts remain readily accessible, especially from USA. I would strongly recommend one. I sold a KTM Duke to get the Buell and have never regretted the decision. I have an old 620cc Duke sat in the garage and hope to get it back on the road over this winter.

  11. Hi Archer,

I think that it has more to do with Riders ability to sell Ducatis! With a showroom in Bristol and in Bridgwater they have good coverage.

And do a good cup of tea.

You know how it is, pop in for a tea and come out with a Diavel under your jacket.

  12. Or there could be Sour Times.

  13. welcome to forum ...:)

  15. Why not organise a meet up for the 3 of us in Portishead, bikes, coffee and chat, could meet on the see front or open air pool if the cafe is still open??
