Snetterton 300 Noise Levels Full Termis Panigale 1199s

  1. Hi Dave

    Just a question about your track day, did you have to put the DB killers in the termi's? Or did you get on track without them. I'm doing Bedford auto drome next month it's a 104db limit (static).

  2. I can't speak for snett but it's an MSV track yes? I did Cadwell and was 103db with baffles on my 899 which is a little louder than a 1199 (the dealer attributes it to the shorter stroke motor) but either way you should scrape in as long as the pipes are really warmed up.

    I also held the clutch in purely because the metre is right by it when they get there, don't know if it made any difference

  3. I put a seperate sticky thread up for noise issues. The word for Bedford is you will need your baffles. It'll likely fail the static test but should be ok with the drive by tests.

  5. Sounds like the Panigale static test problem is filtering through, because that is exactly how they dealt with the Panigales at Bedford.
