Spaniard Through The Uk

  1. Sorry for the late response, I've been having Internet issues.
Nevermind, thanks for your help, I'll let bridgwater riders shop to have some days to fix it (although if they can't do it before monday the 11th I'll have a really big problem, because that's the last day before my back trip to Spain).
I'll call them back next Wednesday to check the fix status...
Finally I've rented a car to do my planned tour, today I'm in the north of Lancaster. Driving a car here in the UK is quite entertaining (for a Spanish driver), but I miss my bike.. and now it's getting quite far from me!

  2. No prob.... If you can get the part and get to me we can repair here at my place...

  3. I appreciate your kindness conf, I'll keep you posted with the fix status

  4. A funny tip... Yesterday after filling the car fuel tank in a gas station I got in it on the left side... until I realised I didn't have the steering wheel in front of me! hahaha
And a couple of times I've taken a taxi I've tried to get in the drivers side ;)

  5. Heh...no problem. I'm gonna put my neck on the block here but if you're really really stuck the stator on my my hypermotard is apparently the same part so I can pull that in an emergency....

  7. I get "sad" every time I see a biker and I can't salutate them... and today I've seen lots of them!

  8. Finally the bike is fixed! Today I called them and it's ready, so next Monday I'll pick it and do the last trip to stonehenge (Today I'm still in the Highlands)
Stunning landscapes, thanks for your help with the planning :)

  9. staying warm and dry and midge free in the car then...

  10. Today I've received the bill by mail...
£995 including stator, regulator (it seems that it was also damaged) and battery (which was new, around one month old, but may be damaged because of the discharge?) and fitting...

  11. Ouch :-( The only plus side here is that the Euro is a lot stronger against the pound than it used to be so some discount there!

  12. This is working out to be an expensive holiday for you. I hope, in spite of everything, you managed to enjoy yourself.
