1200 DVT Full Termi Upmap - Can You Tell On Display

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by B1stoboy, Jul 6, 2016.

  1. Hi, Can anyone who has the full termi and the upmap installed tell me if the display shows that the race map is installed or not. Mine doesnt and reading a separate thread about an upmap being overwritten and reverting to standard ( not on the DVT) I was just wondering........ Txs

  3. If the full Termi is installed and you have removed/disconnected the exhaust valve, then if there is no check engine light the upmap is installed OK. If the upmap isn't installed, the lack of exhaust valve will trigger the check engine light.

Also, you can ask the dealer to verify the install and show you the screen or printout from their magic black box. I can't remember what the revision number is but I can see if I can dig it out.

Note that I confirmed the light-on issue on my bike. I fitted the exhaust on my own, disconnecting the exhaust valve obviously. When I started the bike I got the Check engine light. When I went to the dealer later that day to get the map installed their computer confirmed the exhaust valve malfunction was the cause of the CEL. When the map was installed the light went off and no errors seen on the Ducati computer.

  4. And here are the ECU revision number and map number for the Termi upmap from the Ducati computer thing:

ECU revision number: 10SW000414. ICU: Y15-S01E3-MFP001

Note there is only one version of the Termi map. No updates/revisions etc.

  5. Thanks Tobers looks like I was worried over nothing. Phew. Saved a trip to the dealer.
