Its maybe a little late, but maybe, possibly, perhaps I am thinking of biking on a GT 1000 to World Ducati Week and will leave from the Midlands Anyone biking down and when and from where and maybe meet up and travel together? This is just testing the water and is for me a maybe. Never been before. Le_Wolf
You could make a start by looking at the numerous threads about WDW: http://ducatiforum.co.uk/forums/wdw-2016.133/
Thanks to you both. I appreciate being directed to other threads and have looked there in the first instance but I am trying to cut out the chaff of the "maybe in a van or by plan, or whatever" i'm not in anyway wishing to be sarcastic but just trying to cut to the chase and make a decision. I appreciate that as a first time potential rider, I have left things very late, but maybe it all adds to the adventure!! :coldsweat:
It must be something in the water .. i'm sat down the road in Lichfield wondering the very same thing. Dare i say i'm considering taking the car instead, which i know i'll regret when i'm there but not for as long as the time i'll regret not doing so on the long slog down there when time is a little limited to get there and back. Have you decided yet?
Hi PeeJay Yes still interested in going to WDW and nothing sorted so lets chat! 07711 014256 to chat, text or whatsapp! Geoff
Darn good idea Razz as I know Ryanair fly to Milan. To cut a corner do you know of a bike hire co in Milan to hire a bike from?
There was an article in one of the classic bike mags last month or so, where the considerations were the same, want to ride, don't have the time. They had their bikes flown out a few days before, flew in, collected bikes, rode about, returned to freight company at airport and got them back a few days after they'd flown home, under £500 air freight round trip I'll try and find the web address and post it here....
In the end, too many imponderables and did not get to Misano. But I genuinely appreciate all the thoughts, practical advice and help re this trip. Next time I will be more organised and arrange much earlier. Again, many thanks and see you there
