  1. any recommendations for Ducati dealers/independants for annual/9k mile services in my area ?
I've heard of LouigiMoto who seem to have a good reputation, and JHS Racing who get very mixed reviews

    thanks

  7. +1 for Louigi Moto. If I can't do it myself I wouldn't let anyone else touch my bike. Rich is the dog's.

  12. Yep - rich all the way - sometimes if I he thinks he can do it in a day you hang around while he does....take something to do as he's out in the middle of nowhere....

  13. Yeah...literally in the middle of nowhere !!

  14. Yeah - Hard to find if you've never been there before - Rich's words - "if we put signs up the pikey's would clear us out in a week!"

  15. Yep won't go far wrong using Rich, both mine go up there. There is a cider factory on the same site if you're interested or being picked up after dropping the bike off. I'm told he can be grumpy but I have only ever found him to be utterly charming.

  16. Rich is a workaholic and there are never enough hours in the day. He's usually running at maximum workload and he doesn't suffer fools gladly. He particularly dislikes being badgered by a constantly ringing telephone every time he tries to pick up a spanner, and he's not keen on people turning up with bikes unannounced when he's already got a queue of them stretching out the door.
I try to ring him either at the beginning or the end of the day and always book a bike in, never just turn up with it. He's never been anything other than helpful and friendly with me but he is an extremely busy man so please don't waste his time or take him for granted folks. Independent specialists of the quality of Rich and the two Chrises are rare and we can't afford to lose them. Especially those of us running Pappa Louigi breathed on engines...

  17. I'm with Rich having a beer and a lovely meal right now and he says "now would be a good time to ring the office"
