Hi All I have just brought a Monster 821 and was wondering if anyone could tell me the easiest way that I can find a live and neutral to wire in my sat nav. I usually take a inline fused wire straight from the battery, but I understand the battery on the 821 is a nightmare to get to. Thanks
The wiring diagram shows a connector for heated grips with a ground and and ignition switched +12V for heated grips. This might be a suitable point. The wires are red/black and black.
Sorry, I have no idea I saw it on the wiring diagram but I'd imagine that it is near the steering head, probably under the tank.
According to the handbook there is also a connector under the seat for connecting a battery charger. I would think this could also double as a power take off point for a satnav.
