  1. If anyone fancies doing some old school film photography I have a few Zenit SLR's for sale between £20 and £30 ready to go complete with lenses...

The Zenit B back left is spoken for, all others available, the two without lenses will have Soviet Industar-50 lenses fitted. Front left is a Moscow Olympics limited edition.

  2. Took a wander along the grand union canal today at Wolverton. Not a bad way to spend lunch time in Milton Keynes...[IMG]

  3. Took 465 photos at Thruxton on Saturday - these are the ones I'm happiest with. Nikon D7000 with 18 -300mm lens.

  5. Playing around with my tripod and remote shutter release. Not perfect, I was using my 70-300 in macro mode, but to be honest I think I've had better results with a 50mm prime and macro filter. [IMG]

  6. Prime lenses will always give better results as the optics are optimised. Zooms are always a technical compromise.

  7. Crap compared to some (most) of the efforts in the thread but thought I'd stick up a few and join in. It might encourage me to get out a bit more with the camera.

    Shots taken with a Canon 7D and either a Canon 70-200L f4 or a Tokina 11-16

  8. I dabble with a Nikon D40X
The Harley is shot with a 200mm lens panned with the action (very casual 'drag' run)
I also like to do the odd manipulation with Photoshop

  9. @jock mcsporran

I am a mere dappler but IMHO these are all absolutely cracking shots

Especially first fourth & all the Scotland shots, you have an eye for it for sure

  10. Just a couple of my favourites from the past month or so. I really need to get to a baby race or something similar.

  11. Cheers but I'm by far an amateur. Still need to learn a bit more about Lightroom to clean up a mountain of pictures that I've done nothing with.

  12. A clear look back at the past? [IMG]

1973 Zenit B with expired Kodacolor 200 film.

  15. Nice pics.
Spean Bridge Commando Memorial, Eilean Donan Castle and Urquhart Castle. My old stomping grounds.

  16. Yeah, we did a long weekend last May bank holiday and it was brilliant, trying to persuade some mates to do the North 500 next year.

  17. Found this in my garage. nut&bolt.jpg Am going to put it in the next camera club competition - confident that the judge won't like it as it isn't a landscape or butterfly!!

  18. Good stuff. Love the Scotland shots.

  19. God I miss my DSLR !
Just bought a top of the range compact (24-100mm eq lens at f1.8-f2.8), much easier to cart around and good for 90% of things..... but macro or track photos, forget it - or drive yourself nuts !!

  20. Aerial shots of cranfield and the Hybrid Air Vehicles Airlander at Cardington.
