Tell me more?? Iv only had the remap when the full system went on, is there something new and do we have to pay???
Just done the first one for a customer. Not ridden it yet, but it's tweaked to offer "Improvements to rideability with OEM exhaust and with DP silencer & DP full system. Improved power with full system. Improved engine behavior and increased engine torque at mid rpm with new Ride by Wire setting (riding modes Race and Sport) and a tweak to the quickshift between first/second gear at partial throttle" Takes 10 minutes or so and it's a freebie
So how does that work then ? When I got mine with termi end cans they used a USB stick to set the mapping, believe there is a different up map for full termi system. So does this re map come in 3 versions. Standard, termi silencers only and full termi system ? Is it also just USB stick the dealer uses ?
No stick. The updated software is downloaded onto the dealers DDS and uploaded to the bike via that. The software will load the correct maps regardless of whether the up map key has been used.
Just to get it right. You can have an updated map for the stock bike with stock exhaust which improves rideability, correct? Thanks

Had a few recall jobs done on my panigale base model by the local dealer yesterday. I asked about upgrade map he said they plugged in the DDS but everything was up to date ? Got the bike in August - could it be the update only applies to earlier build bikes ?
Maybe. I got mine in late October but it seems that it was from an earlier batch. Bad thing is that with the software updated now the bike stalls at traffic lights a few times. I am waiting foe the dealer to sort it out.
