Hi all I *stupidly* placed the fuel cap on top of the bars when I refuelled, and now have deep marks in the LCD covering where drips of petrol landed. The LCD on my 1100s has a glossy, hard-wearing coating, whereas the one on the 939SP is matt and obviously less so. I can't believe I'm the first Muppet to have done this. Is there an alternative to: 1. Replacing the entire unit; 2. Living with it? Cheers all. L
They go dull and hard to read with age. Funnily enough I fitted a speedo angels screen protector today and frack me it's made a massive difference. It now looks like a glass display, with a lovely shine and makes everything looks crisp and sharp. Best £6 I've ever spent...possibly.
Hi - as Im keeping the SP - may as well start loading up on goodies! Which version did you purchase the Hypermotard 2010 onwards or Hyperstrader 2013 onwards.? Cheers R
I couldn't run to £6, so I ordered the BROTECT one (two, in fact!) at £3.95 from eBay. 2x BROTECT Matte Screen Protector for Ducati Hypermotard 821 (2015) Protection | eBay Perhaps we can compare notes to see if that £2.05 was really worth it. Hehe! L
This is a good idea because on my previous hyper I ended up with some water spots guess from the product I was using to wash it. But looking at the e-bay offers, basically one could instead buy a screen protector normal one and cut it to fit the size of the Hyper. Even a sale for some of the bigger mobile or iPad screen protector films could do as well. Do you think the same?
