Has anybody put a carbon Pikes Peak screen on their DVT1200 or 1200S? I bought one but the holes in the carbon screen are smaller than the standard screen. Looking up the part numbers, both screens apparently use the same rubber spacers (75840621A) but the std screen screws are part no. 77918092AA whereas the PP model screws are listed as 77210881B, which seems a bit weird to me. I could just drill out the holes bigger on the carbon screen I guess, anybody else done this swap?
Fitted the conquest carbon to my 1200s, used the original screen rubbers as "buffers" and used some Allen head bolts I'd got lying around. They're silver so not ideal or permanent, will be fitting black replacements soon as. Also used a rubber o ring on the outside of the screen, at the bolt head
Look carefully in the box it came in. I had the same issue with mine, they use different screws without the rubber spacers. Don't drill! I bought some ebay rubber washers to go underneath...
Can anyone tell me where they got their fixings from, and the size of the fixings. I spoke with Conquest Carbon and they said that the screen does not come with screws or bolts for the DVT screen. The originals are too big and just dont fit.
I bought mine from shift tech Carbon. Came with screws. I believe it's the same as Ducati performance.
Thanks - it looks to be the same screen but I think I have found some bolts: Carbon windshield bolts kit CNC Racing Multistrada 1200 Utterly ridiculous carriage charge, but not many other options that I can find.
