I'm sure many of you know of or use Ducati Proteam already, but for those that don't they're very well recommended. Alec has spannered Ducatis and other Italian stuff for well over 20 years, at both BSB, and WSB level. He used to be at GR Ducati in the early 90's for those with a long memory, and spannered for the race team which was supported by Ewen and Charlie before their Long Way journeys. I'm very, very fussy when it comes to anyone else working on my bikes, bit if a job needs a factory tool I don't have, or if I just don't have the time, my bikes go to Alec. He even offers a collection and delivery service, which I used for the Baines Imola when he replaced the starter sprag for me. Well worth a call!
Second time I've used him and he's helped me sort out an ECU problem on the 749. Collection and delivery is great. Such a nice bloke, always happy to listen and talk rather than being matter of fact about things. Have a look at his facebook page if you send in a bike, he posts pictures of what he's doing to your pride and joy. A nice touch. Recommended several times over!
+1from me.......I used to work with Alec many years ago bought a 916 earlier this year, I wont be taking it anywhere else.
Thanks guys, if that's you V, It's gone off now and hopefully have it back this week! Buellie......reveal yourself...
I work with a tall bloke with a big nose in Romford. I am extremely good looking and was always fast along the A5 in our riding days together, except when we pulled straws to find Tom Lenton and you lost. Ring any bells?
It's in hibernation now, will be in touch in the new year....needs belts Al ...... how did you know it was me....
Just thought I'd bump Proteam up the forum a bit as I'm just waiting on Alec to knock on the door to pick up my wife's monster going in for belts and a new chain.
