Fortitudo mea in levitate - project1408.ducati.com Discover the Quintessence of Ducati - the perfect manifestation of a thing. cheers Mr Postie!
i understand that the bike looks quite different to this. Superficially it uses the matt red and white paint of the MotoGP bikes. the exhaust is the wheel barrow/under seat design of WSB. consequently, it has additional louvered fairing towards the rear of the bike acting as a heat shield for all the pipework. apparently the bike is all carbon. the dealer was most excited by the MotoGP derived electronics which go far beyond current WSB. "slide at will" was the quote. apparently the factory test rider took 1.5 seconds off a SL1 lap time on his first set up session on the SL2.
Not apparently you are correct sir and £15000 deposit And if you have a good dealer they WONT take a deposit from you
Rubbish trust me you are not missing anything just pictures about carbon fibre and txt NO PICTURES of the bike
There are know pics, just there bloody marketing stuff take your trousers down kind of stuff lol All that glistens isn't Gold lol Speak soon
I couldn't agree more. Marketing men seem to think the drip, drip of information keeps potential purchasers interested. For me, it pisses me off. Show me what you've got to sell and I decided if I want to buy it. Just don't piss fart around.
Carbon wheels, carbon swingarm, carbon 'frame'...but not a single picture of the complete bike. Hmmm...
Perhaps we will get a set of magnesium parts dripped upon us next, followed by later drips of titanium ...
After studying it more thoroughly, I think that the initial website is showing the main difference between the Mark 1 & Mark 2 SL's 1st off. Most if not all, I'm guessing after 3 years since the original launch most will know by now what the MK1 is/ has over a Panigale anyway. However it would be great for those who are/ have ordered 1 to see what the bike could be like, but I suppose sometime in the 2 next weeks some will get the chance to find out when they visit the factory to see it. So we all may have to wait a little longer until November either @ Eicma or NEC etc.
