This is proper weird! Frame number 1??????? But no number on the yoke???? Dream on!!! I own 001/500 with personally addressed correspondence from Claudio Domenicali. If you want Ducati 1199 Superleggera 001, call me!! PS - errr, it's not for sale!!
If it's Prince William's bike, it might be worth a punt. His is a XXX/500 on the top yoke, but I would the frame number with Ducati UK to be sure.
don't forget 20% vat on those italian registered nonexistent prototypes as they are under 6k on the clock, so will not be considered as used by hmrc.
I love the fact that people like you know this sort of stuff. I barely know a 916sps actually had a 996 motor :tearsofjoy:
This guy is always on eBay selling cheaper limited bikes that need picking up from Bordeaux, desmos, vfr's, rcv's etc etc Always thought it was a scam or he's got a very nice collection He's got 3 sl's on their at the mo
This seller has posted on this forum and according to another forum member who recently bought a bike from him, he is okay. I don't know him from Adam and have no connection, I just remember that this has been the subject of discussion previously. Andy
Ok that's cool then just all seemed to be abit to good to be true that's all and then with the Bordeaux thing alarm bells rang that's all Can't be to careful these days that's all
XXX/500 is NOT HRH's. Its @ DMH in Bologna and it's the Factories project bike before the Production run of 500 were made. I'll try and insert a photo of me sat on it in the Factory back in Dec2014.. HRH's bike is believed to be '/500' and at Raceways for sale with 1210 miles on it.
