Another price drop to £6500!!!! There is no other Evo, this year, with that mileage for close to that price. Viewing is recommended, pictures do it no justice
I'm looking for an 848 (among other tjings) and that is a good price . however it's at the sort of money where not many people have that much lying around in cash,so most would look at a dealer and sort out finance. Ive got 5k sitting around from an insurance payout, but have to shop at dealers as everything I want is about 7-8k.
Think its the market at the moment....i tried to sell my supermoto....5 1/2k to build and literally 100 miles on it (complete engine rebuild) amongst the nut and bolt restore...ive advertised it on and off since january....a couple of tyre kickers and one promise "to be there tomorrow" and thats about it. Half considering draining all the fluids and sitting on it for 10 years or so and see what happens then...sorry just to add i was only asking 3.8k for it...thats the problem everyone wants something for nothing...
Ducati stoke have offered to take it and advertise for £7995, giving me 7k once sold. But it could be in there a week or 3 months so I'm prepared to take £500 less for a quick cash sale. But yes you are right, not many people have that cash lying about. Why don't you take a £1500 loan and get this, instead of buying from a dealer and paying 3k more
Why not get a loan for the difference and not pay the dealer premium? I got a loan for my 899 and it was cheaper than Ducati dealer finance.
PCP must be hurting the private used market at the higher price point like this. My business partner chopped a blade in for a new SP blade without needing to to raise a deposit and his payments are the same. He's kind of locked into eternal PCP at about £120 a month forever. Or at least until he packs it in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, my s1000rr was on PCP at £130 a month, no ones going to go bank and get out 10k of their savings when u can get a bike like that for 35 a week!
I dunno - for me pcp doesnt work....all of my bikes i own...no monthly payment and i can do what i want to them and ride them as much as i like without penalty and this last couple of years the winters have been quite mild so i wasnt in the car that much...but then, im just stating the obvious...
Yeah, same here. Never leased a vehicle in my life. There's a row of dilapidated flats on my route to work, proper grotty run down holes. Always a fleet of new BMWs or Audis parked outside in my way home. Make of that what you will!
