After many years lusting after one, I've just bought a 2000 SPS and can't stop looking at it! What a beautiful machine and what an experience it is to ride. It's completely standard and only done 11k miles and seems in great condition. It will be pampered and cherished for sure. I just need to get a paddock stand, so on the hunt for a good one if anyone has any recommendations?
Here ya go it's a bargain best there is, if it were closer to me I'd have snapped it up ducati paddock stand
Thanks all for the nice comments. Toby, just dropped him a line to see if the pin fits a 996, so ta for the link!
Nice one! I see you are in W Sussex...may see you out and about on dry sunny warm days! I'm not surprised that you can't stop looking at it....saves your eyes from looking at the Harley!
Nice bike. I've been racing one in the Hungarian championship this year and it gets lots of respect even if way underpowered compared to the modern competition. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Beautiful bike and deserves the very best stand. Silly money but it was many race teams use at world level. Equipment : 748R/916/996S rear stand
Stunning. Amazing that it's fifteen years old and looks like new. My Panigale 1199S has the same mileage!
Congrats, lovely bike. I had found an sps with similar mileage when I bought my 996, and still wish I'd bought it... the 996 is a lovely ride, and has real presence on the road.
I'm with you ...... when you have an itch like that it just has to be scratched. Remember all you chaps saying should I ..... what will the wife say :grimacing:. Well I say sail while the wind is blowing because one day it wont be. The sands of time are running out :hourglasssand: we are all doomed ( Dads army quote) and all that stuff. BAD INFLUENCE who said that :Rage: ME !!
