Hi To All From A 749 Newbie

  1. I managed to pick up a 749 couple of months back and joined up here to get all the best tips and advice. After its 15K service this week mainly for the shims I'm planning out all the winter jobs I can do and afford this year at least

Probably the starter cables as a minimum as its rubbish at turning over especially now it's a little cold. Then onto some paint touch ups.

  8. Welcome Sid
The 749s is a superb motorcycle , but needs to have the suspension set up professionally to gain maximum advantage, also fork oil refresh if the bikes @15k( something that often gets neglected)
    This will transform the bike.
Really benefits from a faster action throttle too.
Both these things will cost less than £100. , and will be the best things you can do to a 749 to turn a good bike into a great one.
